The Console

The Console is a key part of using a server, as it provides logs for what is happening, live server resources, a player counter, and also allows you to interact with the server.

The Action Bar

The Action Bar above the console allows you to obtain key server information, and also control the power state of the server, at the click of a button.

Firstly, we see the server's IP address, which would look like 123.456.78.9:25565. You can copy this by clicking on the server IP, and then pasting it into your Minecraft client to join your server. You can also use a Subdomain to connect to your server, you can learn more about that here.

Next, we have the server's CPU and RAM usage. The CPU usage is out of 100% for all servers, and the RAM usage is out of however much you have purchased for your plan. If your server CPU usage is not above 90% and your RAM is not near full, your server is most likely running fine. Additionally, it is also normal for servers to use under 1% CPU usage.

The disk usage resembles the Recycle Bin + File Manager storage amount. If your server is using a lot of disk space, you may want to consider upgrading your plan.

The player counter echos the number of players currently online, which is also found below the console.

The power actions will act upon the server and the stop button will change to a kill button if the server is already in a stopped state.

Console Actions

Directly below the console itself, we have a box to enter commands to be directed for our server. In the case of a Minecraft Server, you would not want to include the / in the command, as it will be added automatically.

The speaker button to the right of the console allows you to send a message to all players on the server, using the command input box.

The upload button will send a log of your entire console to our Sparked Paste website, and copy the link to your clipboard. This is helpful for diagnosing server issues with other people, including staff members.

Graphs & Playerlist

At the bottom of the console page, you will see the following graphs and the server's playerlist (in the case of a non-Minecraft server, the playerlist would not be shown).

The 2 graphs resemble the server's CPU and RAM usage, and have the same effect as the usage stats on the Action Bar.

The playerlist shows a list of all the players currently online. However, this feature will only work if your server has query enabled in your server.properties file.
